CO2 laser-based SLS technologies, such as the Snowwhite2 and Snowwhite2-HT models, outperform diode-based systems in thermoplastic processing. A wavelength of 10.6 µm enables optimal absorption of materials such as PA12, PA11, TPU, and PP, ensuring more effective melting and fusion. This results in the production of parts characterized by high density, improved mechanical properties, and a superior surface finish.
