In the showcase of Milano Unica, a reference point for textiles and accessories, from 4 to 6 February 2020, Novaresin SpA presented the first ideas with applications and samples on this new technology, offering a sector audience a look at the peculiar aspect of this function linked to fashion that we know to be ahead of the times in terms of innovation. It is in fact 3D printing on a particular fabric, a design, a pattern, a symbol or logo.

Starting from synthetic fabrics as an experiment, we then arrived at printing on polyurethane and fabrics of different qualities are in progress. All this with a Sharebot ONE printer, an entry-level model of the Sharebot company that operates truly interesting performances: internal camera, shape-memory plan and the very convenient auto-leveling function.

The R&D Team of Novaresin, always attentive and vigilant to the times and market trends, has created satisfactory samples and has met with great interest, immediately winning the use for the opening of a new product range, to safeguard the COVID-19 cyclone, producing a collection of protective masks and using resources such as fabrics and technologies already present in the company, giving life to Novamask, an elegant Urban Outfit fashion collection. Precisely because of the current times, the need to make the product visible to the public in an important way is urgent.

Sharebot, thanks to the ONE and the new born of the company, the VIPER, supported the project and created through a study based on the anatomy of the face, a mannequin that reflects style and enhances Novamask’s appeal.

In just a few months, more than 100,000 fashion masks for women, children and men entered the accessories market. This collaboration is just one of the countless and surprising customizable uses that 3D printing offers to the world of companies to revolutionize their production processes.
