Since its foundation, Sharebot tried to remain available and in contact with the world of research, both institutional and private, up to modify her 3D printers to allow the realization of special research projects.
In particular, the Snowwhite 3D printer was created specifically to meet the needs of research laboratories that use or create thermoplastic powders, the characteristics that differentiate it from all other printers that use the sintering process are the possibility to freely modify all the parameters of the process, the possibility of carrying out tests with a few grams of material and the possibility of changing the material used in less than an hour.
The experience gained allowed Sharebot’s research group to face another challenge, the printing of metal powders; the metalONE printer was born from this challenge, a metal sintering printer that follows the Snowwhite philosophy in terms of freedom, ease of use and accessibility.
The first metalONEs have already been shipped and orders are available.
Sharebot is available to customize its 3D printers to help research in studying new materials and new uses for this technology that will be the future of the new industrial revolution.
Sharebot 3D printers are intended to be used by Universities, Colleges, Research centers, and industry R&D laboratories. Users have the possibility to modify, set, and customize all printing process settings, and obtain log files from the data recorder sensors.
Through Google Scholar, it’s possible to find Sharebot 3D papers and projects.

Sharebot SnowWhite2
SnowWhite2 is the professional DLS (Direct Laser Sintering) 3D printer that sinters polymeric powders with CO2 laser. The printer allows to use a wide range of professional thermoplastic powders: if required, it’s also possible to use special loaded materials.
Thanks to Sharebot SnowWhite2, every research center, laboratory or SME can now use the laser sintering technology; infact SnowWhite2 come at a very small price compared to its main competitors, its results are fully replicable and can start printing with just 300g of material.
- Build Volume: 100 x 100 x 100 mm
- Working temperature: Up to 190°C
- Scan speed: Up to 3.500mm/s
- Laser: CO2 14W
- Modified Atmosphere: Yes
Sharebot MetalONE
The ideal metal 3D printer for all those who want to test new materials and alloys thanks to its printing volume and the standard DMLS printing process, it allows the creation of objects and specimens with little use of metal powder (minimum load of 800gr), besides the fact that all the process parameters can be modified by the researcher and checked in the logs after printing.
Thanks to the possibility to print with both Nitrogen and Argon and its 250 watt fiber laser, almost any dust can be tested
- Build Volume: 65 x 65 x 100 mm
- Laser: 250W Fiber
- Modified Atmosphere: Si
- Minimum Load: 800gr
