Sharebot Formnext 2019

Report Formnext 2019

Formnext 2019 gave Sharebot the chance to meet new potential customers from all over the globe. Companies, professionals but above all universities and research centers have visited our stand to request information about Sharebot metalONE, DMLS 3D printer. Aimed at the R&D world this printer has attracted the attention of many interested its “Open” philosophy.

In fact all the process parameters can be modified by the researcher and checked in the log files at the end of printing. Furthermore, the possibility of using inert gases combined with the 250 Watt fiber laser, gives the user the possibility to test any type of dust. Moreover thanks to its reduced printing area and the standard DMLS process, it allows the creation of models and samples with a minimum use of metal powder starting from 800gr.

As every year the international fair dedicated to the world of Additive Manufacturing and technologies applied to manufacturing, took place in Frankfurt from 19th to 22nd November. This year over 630 exhibitors attended the fair from all over the globe and had the opportunity to meet more than 27,000 visitors, companies and professionals looking for solutions to revise and optimize their production processes.

Here experts from a wide range of industry sectors, such as automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, medical technology, electrical engineering, and many more, come together to discover additive manufacturing, industrial 3D printing, and innovative production technologies for themselves.

Sharebot at Formnext 2019

On the occasion of its fifth presence as an exhibitor at the event, Sharebot will present 3D printers dedicated to the world of production and research.

Since its foundation, Sharebot has tried to remain tied to the world of research, both institutional and private, coming to modify 3D printers to allow the creation of special research projects. In particular, the two spearheads in the R&D field will be presented: SnowWhite and metalONE

  • Snowwhite, created to meet the needs of research laboratories that use or create thermoplastic powders, completely open in all process parameters, capable of carrying out tests and prints with a few grams of powder material, ready to be used in less than one hour.
  • metalONE, a metal sintering printer that follows the Snowwhite philosophy in terms of freedom, ease of use and accessibility.

The first metalONEs will be delivered following the fair. All the tests of the printer are documented in the metalONE Club reserved area (it is possible to request access via email to where updates and latest prints concerning the metalONE project are published
